Classroom Instruction:  David C Cook; Bible-In-Life Curriculum

Transform the hearts and minds of kids, teens and adults with David C Cook's most widely used curriculum.  For over 50 years Bible-in-Life has served the Church with trusted curriculum for ALL ages, communicating the Gospel with life-changing clarity.  Each week, across all age levels, Bible-in-Life students focus on these four areas:

  • Connecting with each other and with God's Word
  • Studying God's Word together
  • Interacting with God's Word to find key themes and takeaways
  • Responding to God's Word by applying it to life

Service Sundays: Heifer International

Heifer International's mission is to work with communities to end world hunger and poverty and to care for the Earth.  They empower families to turn hunger and poverty into hope and prosperity - but their approach is more than just giving them a handout.  Heifer links communities and helps bring us sustainable agriculture and commerce to areas with a long history of poverty.  Their animals provide partners with both food and reliable income, as agricultural products such as milk, eggs, and honey can be traded or sold at market.  When many families gain this new sustainable income, it brings new opportunities for building schools, creating agricultural cooperatives, forming community savings and funding small businesses.  Our youth will not only learn about what it means to serve and the importance of having a servant heart, but have a chance to put it into action by "filling the Ark" and hosting a Living Gift Market.

Praise & Worship:  Creating a Heart of Worship

This song-filled time is focused on the concept of praising God, and specifically how music can be used to give him worship.  Children will learn the importance of music as a way to serve the Lord and will be challenged to use their voices to praise God.  Children trust the Lord much easier than adults, and so singing praise to Him comes more naturally to them.  Each lesson will focus on the bible verse about praise and teach the children more about worship.  They will learn why God deserves to be worshiped and what it means to give him praise.
